For 2021, Toyota unveils its most popular models cloaked in a bold, black, undeniable style dubbed “the Nightshade Edition”. In addition to bold paint, Toyota fits each model with bold black accents, badging, and head-turning boldness that lets you express your personality in a bold new way. For 2020, the Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Corolla sedan, Corolla hatchback, and Sienna already come cloaked in the bold style that is Nightshade, but let’s uncover what lies in store for 2021.

Welcoming Three New Models to the Dark Side

For 2021, Toyota is adding three new models to the Nightshade family: the 2021 Tacoma, the 2021 Tundra, and the 2021 Sequoia.

2021 Toyota Tacoma Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Tacoma Nightshade Edition will follow the footsteps of its other Nightshade siblings, fitting itself with Dark Smoke 18-inch alloy wheels, a black exhaust tip, and black fog light bezels. Its grille insert design is additionally unique while contrasting against its Magnetic Gray Metallic, Super White, or Midnight Black paint.

2021 Toyota Tundra Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Tundra Nightshade boasts similar style to its little brother, wearing its own version of smoked alloy wheels, along with its other signature Nightshade models, that include blackened door handles, and darkened mirror caps. The 2021 Tacoma can also be fitted with your choice of Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, or Midnight Black plaint to express your personality of style how you see fit.

2021 Toyota Sequoia Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Sequoia Nightshade proudly wears its darkened Sequoia badging while wearing unique body molding, lower grille, and fog light styling. Unique to the Sequoia is its color choices, which include everything offered on the Tundra and Tacoma, plus Blizzard Pearl, which is an invigorating hue of pearl white.

Most Toyota Nightshade Special Editions are based on the ‘SE’ trims of their respective models, but for 2021, the Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia are based on more luxurious ‘Limited’ trim models that include features like leather seats and other upgraded conveniences. All three models will be available in both rear and four-wheel drive options, while 5,000 of both the Tacoma and Tundra models will be built. The Sequoia will boast in rarity, building only 2,500 versions of the full-size SUV.
